Integrative
Agri-Landscaping Vision
Our stewardship vision transforms un-used, or single-use, areas in the Texas Panhandle into a multi-layered, regenerative, sustainable, resilient ecosystem. This design features a fruit and nut tree canopy, nitrogen fixing Texas native plant species, and edible perennial landscaping to support both human harvest and local wildlife. At its heart, a solar-powered fountain aerates a wetland pond, creating a permanent water source for migratory birds. This ‘living classroom’ is completed with stone walking paths and resting benches, inviting the community to experience the restorative power of nature firsthand.
The mission behind Farm to Forest is to teach individuals how to integrate regenerative-ag and permaculture principles into human living spaces. Whether on acreage, or small scale, integrative agri-landscaping helps harmonize the spaces in which we dwell.
Within these agri-landscaped spaces, Farm to Forest also aims to create educational hubs to bring people together in the name of practical land stewardship.
Future-Proof Your Land from the Soil Up
“Resilient food forests don’t just happen; they are built from the ground up. At Farm to Forest, we know that true sustainability begins with regenerating degraded soil. RegenScape is the digital design partner created to bridge the gap between complex ecological data and tangible land restoration.
Whether you are an experienced farmer, a first-time homesteader, or a gardener looking to join the regenerative movement, RegenScape provides the biological blueprint your land needs to thrive:
Soil-First Intelligence: Match your specific soil profile—even degraded clay or high-desert sand—with the precise amendments and life-cycles needed to bring it back to life.
Integrated Success Strategies: Don’t just plant a tree; build an ecosystem. The app automatically bundles your plant choices with the necessary earthworks (like Waffle Gardens or Swales) to ensure survival in harsh climates.
Generative Growth Modeling: Use AI-driven visualizations to see your land’s 10-year transformation. Watch your soil-building efforts turn into a lush, multi-layered food forest before you even break ground.
Join the Beta Launch: We are currently migrating our ‘Permaculture OS’ to its mobile home. Access the web app today and start building your foundation of resilience.”
Equip the Forest
From soil kits to saplings, from skid-steers to augers, every tool helps us restore the land.
Priority 1: Ground breaking – Healing the Surface: Preparing the land through non-chemical invasive removal and water-harvesting earthworks.
Goathead Roller
Our first line of defense. This professional-grade collector allows us to clear thousands of puncture-vine seeds manually, making the land safe for volunteers and wildlife without using glyphosate.
“San Angelo” Digging Bar
The ‘Yucca Specialist.’ This 17lb steel lever is essential for prying out deep, woody taproots from the hard Texas caliche, clearing the way for our native food forest.
“Sharpshooter” Trenching Shovel
Precision earth-shaping. Unlike standard shovels, the Sharpshooter’s narrow blade allows us to carve the exact contours of our water-harvesting swales and berms.
Priority 2: The Science – Establishing the Baseline: Using precision data and ecological monitoring to guide our restoration strategy.
Soil Test Kit
The scientific roadmap. This professional lab analysis tells us exactly which minerals are missing, allowing us to heal the soil chemistry before we plant.
Water Health Kit
Wetland monitoring. As we build our pond, this kit tracks nitrates and oxygen levels, ensuring our water remains a safe, life-giving hub for migratory birds.
Soil Moisture & Temp Probe
Real-time hydration tracking. This digital probe ensures our berms are holding moisture at the root level, giving our saplings the best chance during the Texas summer.
Priority 3: The canopy – The first layer of our edible, regenerative, perennial forest ecosystem, and integrative spaces.
Pioneer Tree Bundle
The forest’s first layer. We start with native ‘Pioneers’ like Honey Mesquite and Palo Verde to fix nitrogen in the soil and create shade for our future fruit trees.
Wetland Solar Fountain
The lungs of the wetland. This commercial-grade solar pump aerates the pond, preventing stagnation and creating a cooling microclimate for the surrounding trees
Paths & Pavers
Universal Access. We are building our first trails using permeable materials that allow rain to sink through to the roots while providing a stable, accessible path for all visitors.
